Its 1.6-litre Multijet diesel returns excellent fuel economy on the long, hilly stretches between Kalkan, Kaş and Fethiye, and the boot easily swallows two large suitcases plus cabin bags. Visibility is generous for a sedan, and the chassis is forgiving on the rougher village roads up to Patara or İslamlar. A solid all-rounder for a couple or a small family staying a week or longer.

Yes — the Egea has a 510-litre boot, which comfortably takes two 23 kg checked-bag suitcases and two cabin bags. With a third suitcase you may need to put one on the back seat.

How is it on the mountain road to Antalya?

The 1.6 diesel handles the climbs without complaint, and at motorway speed (110 km/h on the D400) it averages around 5 L / 100 km. The drive is about 3h15 each way.

Can I drop it back at Dalaman airport?
