How long is the walk to the waterfall?

20–30 minutes one way along a flat valley floor, with one shallow river crossing. Suitable for any age in trainers; not paved, so wear closed shoes rather than flip-flops.

Are there butterflies?

In summer (June–August) yes — Jersey tiger moths and other species rest in the shade of the cliffs at midday. Outside that window the valley is still beautiful but with fewer butterflies.

Is there time to swim at the beach?

Yes — about 2 hours total at the valley, including the walk and a swim from the small pebble beach where the boat anchors. Bring a towel and water shoes.
