Antalya Airport to Kalkan Transfer

From the airport the road runs west along the coast, past Kemer with the mountains dropping almost straight into the sea, then rises over a pass above 500 metres before dropping into the flat plain around Kumluca, known for its greenhouses and citrus groves. Finike follows, home of the protected Finike orange, then Demre, where the ruins of ancient Myra and the Church of St Nicholas sit just off the road. From there it's on to Kaş and the final run into Kalkan — one continuous, winding introduction to most of the Lycian coast in a single drive, with the sea rarely out of view.

Whitewashed and stacked above its own small harbour, Kalkan trades resort strips for narrow stepped lanes, bougainvillea-covered walls, and a hillside dense with private villas and their pools. The waymarked Lycian Way passes close by, and the town itself has enough rooftop restaurants and boutique hotels to fill a week of evenings without repeating one. The beach at Kaputaş, right on the road just outside Kalkan, is one of the best-known coves on this coast. It's a place built for slow evenings rather than sunbed rows, which is why so many visitors come back the following year.
