About this route
Kekova is the small island and protected bay between Kas and Demre, best known for the sunken Lycian city slipping into the water along its northern shore — earthquakes in the 2nd century did the damage. Boats leave from the fishing village of Ucagiz, most with glass-bottomed sections so you can see the submerged steps and amphorae.
