Antalya Airport to Kumluca Transfer

From Antalya Airport the D400 runs west along the coast through Kemer and Tekirova, skirting the pine-covered slopes above Olympos and Çıralı before turning slightly inland to Kumluca, set back from the sea in its own wide valley. It's a shorter, gentler drive than the legs further on to Finike or Demre, and one of the more straightforward transfers on this coast. The road is well used by transfer traffic heading further along the coast, so it's a smooth, familiar run for local drivers.

Kumluca is known across Turkey as greenhouse country — its valley grows a large share of Antalya province's tomatoes, cucumbers and peppers under kilometres of plastic and glass, and market life here runs on the growing season rather than tourism. Few holidaymakers stay in the town itself; most pass through on their way down to the sandy sweep of Adrasan beach or the ancient city of Olympos, tucked into a river gorge on the Lycian Way. Closer to the centre, the ruins of Rhodiapolis sit scattered on a hillside a short drive away, one of several lesser-visited Lycian sites in the district. For guests staying nearby, both sites can usually be visited in the same half-day, well before the afternoon heat sets in.

Your driver waits in the arrivals hall with a name board, tracks your flight number, and helps with your luggage before driving door-to-door — if your hotel or villa is actually down in Adrasan, Çıralı or Olympos rather than Kumluca itself, just book to that exact address and you'll be taken straight there. Villas up the valley are sometimes reached by a farm track rather than a named street, so sharing a pin location at booking helps.
