The Antalya Airport to Lara transfer route
This is one of the shortest transfers we run: Lara sits close enough to Antalya Airport that your driver joins the D400 and Lara Boulevard heading south-east and is turning into the resort strip within minutes of leaving the terminal. Close by, the Düden River drops off the city's limestone cliffs straight into the Mediterranean — one of the few waterfalls in the world that ends at the sea rather than inland.
Lara: sand, resorts and the falls at the sea
Lara is Antalya's eastern beach district, a long stretch of flat sand backed by large all-inclusive hotels, several built around themed architecture, with water parks, kids' clubs and big buffet halls aimed squarely at families. It sits right next to the Lower Düden Waterfall, where the river plunges around forty metres of cliff into the sea — a popular spot to view from the clifftop park above or from a boat below. Together with Konyaaltı on the far side of the city, Lara is one of Antalya's two main beach areas.
Arriving in Lara
Your driver waits inside the arrivals hall with a name board and helps carry your luggage to the car. Give your flight number when you book and it is tracked, so if the plane lands late the driver is still there waiting, at no extra charge. Baby, child and booster seats are fitted free of charge if you ask for them in advance. The price is agreed before you travel and the transfer runs door to door to any hotel or villa on the strip; because the drive is so short, it is also an easy route on which to add a stop at a supermarket or for photos on the way — just tell the driver.
