Antalya Airport to Ölüdeniz Transfer

From Antalya Airport, the road climbs inland rather than tracing the coast. It runs north-west past Korkuteli, then works up through the Karabel pass into high plateau country around Söğüt and Çavdır — pine forest and pasture that most Antalya-side holidaymakers never see. Beyond the yayla the road drops toward Fethiye, then climbs one more ridge past Hisarönü before dropping into the Ölüdeniz basin. Worth saying plainly: Dalaman is the closer airport for this stretch of coast. Antalya's advantage is year-round flights, while Dalaman's schedule thins out in winter, which is exactly why we run this route.

Ölüdeniz's setting is the reason people plan a whole holiday around it. The Blue Lagoon sits behind a narrow spit at the foot of Babadağ, calm enough to swim across, with the resort spread along the hillside above at Hisarönü and Ovacık. Small boats run from the harbour to Butterfly Valley, a cliff-walled cove reachable only by water. Babadağ itself rises straight out of the sea behind the beach; from down here you watch paragliders spiral in to land rather than launch from the summit yourself — that side of the mountain is covered on our Dalaman route.

Your driver waits in the arrivals hall with a name board and tracks your flight number, so a delay on this long inland drive costs you nothing extra. Luggage is loaded for you, and you choose a vehicle size to match your group before booking. Baby and child seats and booster seats come free on request — mention it when you book so the right seat is already fitted. Villas above Ölüdeniz and around Hisarönü can be hard to find on a first visit; send the driver a pin or the exact address in advance and they will take you straight there. A short stop for coffee, a photo or the shop is fine on the way — just ask the driver.
