Frequently asked

Do I need kayak experience?
No — sea kayaks are stable two-person sit-on-top boats. A briefing covers paddle technique and steering; instructor stays with the group. Beginners welcome from age 12.
How long do we paddle?
Around 3 hours total on the water, broken into segments by snorkel and swim stops. Distance covered: 4–6 km depending on conditions, all in calm sheltered water.
What do we see along the way?
You paddle directly above the sunken city — house walls, stairs and harbour stones in 1–3 m of clear water — past Kaleköy castle and through quiet bays for swimming.
Is snorkelling gear included?
Yes — masks and snorkels provided free. Wetsuits and dry-bags for phones included. Bring sun cream, water shoes and a hat.
Is it safe for kids?
Yes from age 12 in a parent-paired kayak. Younger children should join the boat tour instead — sea kayaks need self-rescue skills if they tip.
