About 1.5 hours in the saddle plus 30 minutes briefing and getting kitted up. We start in late afternoon to ride into the golden hour and finish near sunset.

Do I need riding experience?

No — most of the route is walk and gentle trot, suitable for first-timers. Confirmed riders can canter on the open beach with the guide once everyone’s comfortable.

Are helmets provided?

Yes — riding helmets in adult and child sizes are provided free. Closed shoes (trainers or boots) are required; we have boots in common sizes if you ask in advance.

Is there a weight limit?

Yes, 95 kg per rider. The horses are local Anatolian crosses and we keep them well by matching them to riders carefully.

Can children join the horse ride?

Yes from age 8 (riding their own horse) and from age 4 on a led horse with a parent walking alongside. Tell us at booking and we’ll allocate the right horse.
